5 Tips to Be More Active During the Day

Here are five fast tips on how to be more active during the day:

1) Take the stairs instead of the elevator.

2) If you’re stuck at your desk, get up every hour and do some leg squats, wall push ups–anything to get moving for a few minutes.

3) Carry your groceries in a basket or reusable bags instead of using a shopping cart –workout those arms.

4) Don’t park in the closest parking spot to store front or office–walk (unless it’s night and for safety reasons, you’ll want to park closer)

5) Take the dog for a walk, the kids for a bike ride-do something-anything-just get out side for even 20 minutes and be active.
